Hello Stallion Families,

Thank you so much for joining us at our recent Open House! It was truly wonderful to see so many of you exploring the school, engaging with teachers, and admiring the incredible samples of student work displayed throughout our hallways and classrooms. Your presence and support make a meaningful difference in our school community.

As we move into the heart of September, learning is in full swing across every grade level. Classrooms are buzzing with curiosity, creativity, and collaboration, and we’re so proud of the growth we’re already seeing in our students.

With fall just around the corner, we kindly remind families to ensure children are dressed appropriately for the changing weather. Layers are always a good idea as mornings can be chilly and afternoons warm.

Also, please take a moment to check our Lost and Found regularly. It’s filling up quickly with jackets, water bottles, and other items that are eager to find their way back home!

Picture Days are coming up next week, from September 16–18. Be on the lookout for more details from your child’s teacher about which day their class is scheduled.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. We’re looking forward to a fantastic fall season together!

In service,
Dr. Quinland and Mr. Pieper

Dear Patch Elementary School Family,

For those of you I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting, my name is Natalie Granatelli, and I will be the nurse at PES through October. It’s been an absolute pleasure meeting your kiddos these last two weeks! I’ve been thoroughly impressed by these students, their self-advocacy, and their caring hearts for each other.

The start of the school year always brings about the spread of germs, so please help me by reminding your children to wash their hands often, cover their mouths when they sneeze and cough, and blow their noses into tissues. The Stuttgart area is already beginning to see an increase in COVID cases, and flu season is right around the corner.

I am including a flyer with DoDEA policies for what illnesses and symptoms require your student to be picked up from school and/or stay home from school. Please review, and reach out to me with any questions.

I hope you have a fabulous long weekend, and I look forward to seeing all the smiling faces on Tuesday!

Respectfully,

Natalie Granatelli, RN

A circular badge with a white edge and the text "National School Public Relations Association". The inner circle has a blue background with the text "Publications and Digital Media Excellence Award". The bottom of the badge has a ribbon with the year 2025 in the middle of it, and just below this ribbon it has the text "Award of Merit Website".

We’re excited to share that DoDEA has won the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) Publications and Digital Media Excellence Award – Website Award of Merit for our School Newsletters Project! This NSPRA award honors outstanding school communication efforts that help connect schools with their communities. This wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our amazing school webmasters. Thank you for keeping families connected with your hard work and heart!
