The Roundup
Dear Patch Families,
As we wrap up the final school day before winter break, we want to wish all of our Patch Elementary families a joyful holiday season and a safe, restful, and successful start to the New Year. We hope this time brings meaningful moments with family and friends, opportunities to recharge, and plenty of smiles along the way.
This past week was a wonderful way to close out the year. Our students enjoyed a variety of festive activities and celebrations across grade levels, and the energy throughout the building reflected the joy and excitement of the season. It was a strong and positive wrap-up to 2025, and we are already looking forward to welcoming everyone back in 2026.
School will resume on Monday, January 6, and we cannot wait to see our students back at Patch, ready to learn and grow together in the new year.
During winter break, Patch Elementary School will remain operational. The school’s business office will observe holiday hours from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. daily, with the exception of Dec. 24-26 and Jan. 1, when the office will be closed.
As a quick reminder for families during this PCS season — if a family is moving or planning to disenroll, please be sure to contact the school as soon as possible. Students who are PCSing must be formally unenrolled, and our team is here to help make that process as smooth as possible. Families may reach out to the front office or email patches.registrar@dodea.edu with any questions or to begin the process.
Thank you for your continued partnership, flexibility, and support throughout the year. Patch Elementary is proud to serve such a strong and connected community, and we look forward to all that lies ahead.
Wishing everyone a happy holiday season, safe travels, and a wonderful start to the New Year — see you on January 6!
In service,
Dr. Quinland and Mr. Pieper
Good Afternoon Patch Elementary School Parents,
Volunteer opportunities are readily available at Patch Elementary School! We welcome parents and guardians to volunteer in their student’s classroom or grade level. To get started, please contact your student’s teacher directly to schedule convenient dates and times. Throughout the school year, there will also be additional opportunities to support student-centered events such as the Pumpkin Drop, Jog-A-Thon, Field Trips, Field Day, and more.
Volunteer forms are available in the Main Office for both types of opportunities:
- In-the-Line-of-Sight Volunteers – one-page document
- Out-of-the-Line-of-Sight Volunteers – Multi-page packet
If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact the Main Office at any time. We truly appreciate your support and involvement in making Patch Elementary School a wonderful place for our students to learn and grow!
Kind Regards,
Mr. Beaman
