Principal Points

Dear Patch Families,

What another fabulous week at Patch Elementary School!

This week was full of fun, connection, and learning — and it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of our PTA. Thanks to their hard work and planning, teachers were treated on Friday to a Super Bowl–themed S-O-U-P-E-R Bowl luncheon, complete with a variety of delicious soups and lunch items. It was a thoughtful and much-appreciated way to show support for our staff.

Friday evening wrapped up with the annual Glow Dance, which was a huge success thanks to the organization and support of our PTA. Hundreds of students and families attended and enjoyed great music, glow sticks, fun prizes, and an incredible light show. A special thank-you goes out to the PTA volunteers who helped set up, decorate, and bring in all of the food and prizes. Our PTA is such an important part of our school community, and we are grateful for all they do to support our students and staff. A big thank-you to Mr. Beaman, along with all of our teachers and staff who attended, for helping make this a great community event and for keeping the energy high throughout the evening.

In classrooms, students continued to work hard throughout the week. Our upper grades have begun preparing for upcoming fourth-quarter summative assessments, building skills and confidence as they move into the second half of the year.

Stakeholder Feedback Survey
Patch Elementary families should have received invitations to complete the Stakeholder Feedback Survey. Please see the attached information and take a moment to complete the survey and encourage students to do so as well. Health Reminder
Flu season is underway. As a reminder, if a child has the flu, a fever, or has been vomiting, they must be symptom-free for at least 24 hours without medication before returning to school.

We are looking forward to another great week ahead. Enjoy the weekend!

In service,
Dr. Quinland and Mr. Pieper
